Our Adult Inpatient Treatment Program

Our adult mental health inpatient treatment programs are individually tailored to each patient’s needs, with the goal of enabling them to more effectively cope with their emotions and behaviors. Treatment takes place within a peaceful therapeutic environment, and our staff makes every effort to ensure that each patient is treated with dignity and respect.

Meals are served in a private dining room. Our menu presents a variety of choices each day, giving patients choices as well as those with dietary restrictions.

Some of our patients require adjunctive therapies or other modalities to most effectively communicate and express themselves. Our Allied Therapy Program provides adult patients with optional avenues for expression and fosters group interaction. Art, movement, recreation and music treatment groups are offered seven days a week.

Adults and Mental Health

Adult inpatient mental health care makes a difference, and mental health issues among adults are far more common than you think.

According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), 20 percent of adults experience a mental health issue at some point in their lives. Even more concerning is that one in 20 adults experience a type of serious mental illness.

Older adults also face mental health challenges. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) approximately 15% of adults aged 60 and over suffer from a mental disorder. Prompt recognition and treatment of mental health disorders in adult adults is essential.
