Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) is for children and adolescents ages 10 to 17 (or 18 if they are still in school). It meets Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Your child receives treatment during the day and returns home at night. Your child may step down to PHP after inpatient care, or they may go directly to PHP if they don’t need a hospital stay but require more support than weekly therapist visits.
Outpatient Treatment at Clarion Psychiatric Center: Why Choose Us?
Every child is unique. Whether your child is dealing with depression, anxiety or another mental health issue, they receive treatment tailored to their needs. At Clarion Psychiatric Center, your child will find a compassionate environment where they can start to feel better. We treat your child like family.
Highlights of our program include:
- Skilled care providers: Our staff includes a master’s-level therapist, mental health technician, psychiatrist, nurse practitioner and certified special education teacher. They work together to create an individualized treatment plan for your child.
- Academic support: Every day, your child spends time on schoolwork so they can keep up with their studies. A certified special education teacher supports them.
- Small groups: We have two groups for children and adolescents, divided by age (typically 10 to 13 in one and 15 to 17 in the other). The groups are limited to eight people each, so your child gets the support and attention they need.
